Hey guys I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted (midterms and things) so I thought I’d share my Halloween with you. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be Drew Brees or a mermaid, so I decided to be Drew Brees as a merman. I got a lot of strange looks, but I had a lot of fun doing the makeup for it. I also carved a pumpkin, made pumpkin spice cupcakes (recipe here) and watched The Ghost and Mr. Chicken with my family, it was a lot of fun.

Fall Lip Kits
I’m a huge fan of Kylie Cosmetics. I love the formula, one coat lasts all day and I’ve never had a more long lasting lipstick. Naturally when the new fall colors came out I had to have them. All four colors are beautiful and I’m loving them, check out the colors below and buy them here.

Sephora Haul
I recently went to Sephora and, as always, bought way more makeup than I meant to. Oops. On the bright side I love everything I got and I’m very happy with my purchase.
I’ve been wanting to try Urban Decay’s all nighter foundation for a while, I just never got around to it until now. I really like the coverage it gives, and you can cover your face with only one pump of product. I also love the packaging even though that’s not really relevent to the foundation itself, I think it looks cool on my vanity. Overall I’m very impressed with this product and it definitely lives up to the hype.
I picked up Kat Von D’s everlasting liquid lipstick in Project Chimp (a sort of burnt red color), I bought this not only because I love the color, but also because it benefits chimpanzees. I love the formula of this lipstick, it lasts long and it’s very pigmented. I also feel like the color is very easy to wear, unlike other red lipsticks that can be a little bit daunting to put on in the morning.
Sticking to the lipstick theme, I also got a make up for ever lipstick in midnight blue. I haven’t worn this one yet, but I loved the color and formula when I swatched it in Sephora and I’m really excited to try it.
My beauty blender has been looking a little bit worse for wear lately, so I decided to get a new one. I love beauty blenders and would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new makeup tool.
As always, I fell into the trap of tester products when I was waiting in line. I got two mini eyeshadow palettes; tartlette tease and smashbox full exposure. Both palettes have an excellent selection of neutral colors and great pigmentation.
I hope you enjoyed that little haul. Everything listed above can be found at Sephora.
Makeup: The Rock Show
Last Wednesday I went to a Blink-182 concert with my sister. All the performers were amazing and we had a great time. I decided to do a simple, but bold make up look that’s perfect for a rock show or a night on the town. Here’s how I created it.
I started with Laura Mercier foundation primer followed by Urban Decay all nighter foundation, naked skin concealer, and Laura Mercier loose setting powder. I used the Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne collection palette (no longer available) in the color rose spritz on my cheeks, amaretto for bronzer, and champagne pop for highlighter. I used benefit goof proof brow pencil for my eyebrows and urban decay eyeshadow primer potion on my eyelids before my eyeshadow. For eyeshadow I used tarte’s Hrush palette in the shade royal on the inner half of my lid, tartelette tease palette in bff on the outer half of my lid, heartbreaker in my crease, and whisper under my brow bone. I used tarte lash paint mascara and finished the look off with a Kylie Cosmetics lip kit in the color Dolce K. I love this make up look and hope you enjoyed it too.

OOTD: Out There
Today I decided to mix it up with some patterns I normally wouldn’t wear together. I think these cat tights from urban outfitters are adorable especially with these velvet shoes from asos. I love how the outfit turned out and I think it’s perfect for fall.
What I wore: sweater, skirt, tights, shoes
