Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I’m so thankful for so many things: my family, friends, and pets. I love animals and I’m always looking for a way to help. This thanksgiving colourpop cosmetics has two pigments available that help to make all shelters in Los Angeles no kill shelters. Proceeds benefit an organization called No-Kill LA. The two shades are called puppy love and cat nap and are available here for $5 each.  I’m buying both and encourage you to help too, either by buying these pigments or donating to NKLA. Thank you so much to my followers and anyone reading my blog. Love you guys ❤️.

Ipsy Glam Bag November 2016

This is only my third Ipsy glam bag and I’m obsessed. I love how it’s personalized, and reviewing products will affect your next glam bags according to what you did or didn’t like. So here’s a first impressions post on this months bag.

The first thing I pulled out was a Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara, which I already have, because let’s be honest, who doesn’t. I gave this one to my mom though and i know it’s a great product.

I got Verb Ghost Oil which is a hair oil that’s support to be good for when you haven’t washed your hair in a while. I’m not really that into hair products, but I’ll try this out and see how it goes.

Next up I got a Skone Cosmetics brow wand eyebrow pencil in chocolate. This looks like my benefit cosmetics goof proof brow pencil and I’m excited to see how this one stacks up to the competition.

I got a Luxie Beauty rose gold small duo fiber brush. I love rose gold so I’m already a huge fan of this, I have a similar brush that’s much bigger that I use primarily for blending, hopefully this one will give a little more precision.

Finally, I got a LAQA & Co. B’lighter in peachers daughter (love the pun), it’s basically just a peachy toned cream highlighter. I’m all about that highlight so I can’t wait to try this one out.

Lipstick Review: Buxom Wildly Whipped Lightweight Liquid Lipstick in Instigator

In my last post I gave my first impressions on the 500 point buxom set from Sephora. So far I’ve been loving it, the lipstick shade looks so good on my skin tone. On top of that it feels very light and doesn’t dry my lips out at all. It’s not as long-lasting as some of the other liquid lipsticks I own, but it doesn’t flake like some do.  Overall I think It’s a great product and I plan to try some new shades in the near future.IMG_3705.JPG

Sephora Rewards

I recently redeemed a reward at Sephora, buxom sexy little things for 500 points.  I  don’t have much experience with this brand so I decided this was the perfect opportunity to test it out.

First Impressions: I love the packaging of all the individual products, it’s all so pretty. It comes with four sample products: a mascara, a liquid lipstick, a lip gloss, and an eye shadow.

The mascara looks really good and I’m so excited to use it. I love the applicator, I definitely prefer a denser brush for my eyelashes.

The lipstick and lip gloss are both very pretty as well. Although the lipstick didn’t seem to dry and came off very easily when I swatched them, I’ll definitely have to try it on my lips to see if it stays on better.

And last, but not least the eyeshadow. This was definitely what I was most excited about because of how much I love eyeshadows. The color is so pretty and I’m very excited to try it.

October Favorites

Hey guys, I know the first week of November is almost over, but I really wanted to do a favorites post so here it is.

The first thing I’ve been loving is a Bath and Body Works candle called pumpkin pie.  It smells like everything fall and it’s amazing. Sadly I’m almost out, but I’ve really enjoyed it and the holder I bought for it is so cute.

I bought some MAC pigments in copper sparkle (left) and  old gold (right). They’re both so pretty and versatile and I’m definitely considering expanding my little collection.img_3559

I’ve also been using the Benefit goof proof brow pencil in shade 4 every single day.  Just like the name says it’s nearly impossible to mess up, It’s easy to blend and remove if you get it in the wrong spot.

And finally I have recently discovered the best makeup remover I’ve ever know: Garnier’s micellar water.  It takes off every kind of make up so easily and the big bottle will definitely last me a while.img_3558
