October Favorites

Hey guys, I know the first week of November is almost over, but I really wanted to do a favorites post so here it is.

The first thing I’ve been loving is a Bath and Body Works candle called pumpkin pie.  It smells like everything fall and it’s amazing. Sadly I’m almost out, but I’ve really enjoyed it and the holder I bought for it is so cute.

 I bought some MAC pigments in copper sparkle (left) and  old gold (right). They’re both so pretty and versatile and I’m definitely considering expanding my little collection.

I’ve also been using the Benefit goof proof brow pencil in shade 4 every single day.  Just like the name says it’s nearly impossible to mess up, It’s easy to blend and remove if you get it in the wrong spot.

And finally I have recently discovered the best makeup remover I’ve ever know: Garnier’s micellar water.  It takes off every kind of make up so easily and the big bottle will definitely last me a while.

Halloween!

Hey guys I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted (midterms and things) so I thought I’d share my Halloween with you. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to be Drew Brees or a mermaid, so I decided to be Drew Brees as a merman. I got a lot of strange looks, but I had a lot of fun doing the makeup for it. I also carved a pumpkin, made pumpkin spice cupcakes (recipe here) and watched The Ghost and Mr. Chicken with my family, it was a lot of fun.

Fall Lip Kits

I’m a huge fan of Kylie Cosmetics. I love the formula, one coat lasts all day and I’ve never had a more long lasting lipstick. Naturally when the new fall colors came out I had to have them. All four colors are beautiful and I’m loving them, check out the colors below and buy them here.

Fall Lush Haul

I’m obsessed with Lush and was so excited to see all the new fall products.  I picked up so many cute things from the fall line and am so excited to try them all out.

What I got:

The Pumpkin bath bomb: it looks like a little jack-o-lantern with a sort of sweet cinnamon smell. 

The Little Monster wrapped gift which came with a monsters’ ball bath bomb and a boo luxury bath melt: the monster’s ball is so cute and smells just like a pixie stick, It brings back a lot of childhood memories.  The boo bath melt is just as adorable and has a sweet fruity fragrance.

The Autumn Leaf bath bomb has layers of fall colors and a wood-y smell.

The Lord of Misrule bath bomb is a classic and I’m so glad they brought it back this year,  it is a beautiful green color and has a spicy smell.

The Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar is so gorgeous and has a light citrus smell, I know the glitter is going to get everywhere though (and I’m not complaining).

Ceridwen’s Cauldron isn’t an autumn exclusive, but I love it and get one almost every time I go in, it has a very subtle lavender smell and is great for sensitive skin .

I’m excited to try all the new halloween products and I’m so happy that fall is finally here!
